Borden Photography
We have a deep appreciation for wildlife and the outdoors. It is our desire to capture birds and animals in their natural habitat and have minimum impact on them while we are there. We utilize Nikon and Canon Digital cameras with long focal length lenses so we can stay as far from the animals as possible. We are juried Artisans for South Eastern Wildlife Exhibition in Charleston SC. We placed second and third in the 2009 Maine Moose Photography Contests and are being published in the Bangor Metro Summer Guide. Joan had another two photos in the top 10 in that contest.
There are no "staged" or "zoo" shots here.
At the present time, the Elk in our galleries are all Pennsylvania Elk that are free ranging elk. The Bald Eagle pictures have been taken in Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland with a majority of them coming from the Pine Creek Valley of North Central Pa. The Moose are from Northern Maine.
